It's a Somehow At Sea/Hottub/Big Freedia combo.  Nic is killing her verse or checking her friendster.  I think both.  The microphone selection is a reslo ribbon/ 545 blend.

Shannon stopped by the studio to record some vocals!  We setup 5 mics and ended up using the cheapest crappy army mic.  It was literally a dream come true to record my favorite artist out right now!

Our friend Yoni from (Why?) just finished up his record with Anna Stewart!  They worked on some of this record at Wyldwood Studios.  They just got song of the month!  Click on the pic to read about and listen to this new project.

APACHE RECORD IN THE WORKS!

WYLDWOOD STUDIOS is excited to have Carlos from Apache come and record a new record with Mike Walti on the drums.  The first song sounds like a Steely Dan/Stones mashup.  It sounds freakin' awesome!  

TV Mike and the scarecrows Release OUT AT SEA

Out at Sea was recorded and mixed at Wlydwood Studios.  We recorded this record to the MM1000 2"  Tape machine and mixed it down to the Fostex 1/2" Tape machine.  This was the first record that Wlydwood used with the MCI 416B Console which was previously used at Muscle Shoal Studios in Alabama.  The drum sounds are sample worthy.  I love this record!
